Hmmm, OK call me a cynic...

This MissionUnstoppable thing advertised on the dz.com homepage smells a bit fishy to me. Basically they want people all over the world to buy lots of their crappy T-shirts and then they will give part of the profit to the Red Cross. They appear to be attempting to portray some charity cred by encouraging people to also give money to a charity of their choice. Then check this out, these Mission Unstoppable guys are owned by 'Emo Enterprises'. Go do a search on-line and have a look at what 'Emo Enterprises' main area of business is.

I think this is a scam looking to abuse public sentiment re. 11 September 2001. If I am wrong, please flame away, but everything about that cheesy web-site and their cheesy T-shirts looks like a money-making venture to me.

Porno???

Jeeze!:$

I would tend to agree with you on this one... I won't buy the shirt... then again, I would not buy anything that was related to the September 11th attacks unless I knew 100% profits were going to charity or the the cause.

this makes me sad :(

Hey thanks alot dave, I just got red-flagged for trying to access a "sex" site. How about a warning next time.

BTW, I can't find anything on Emo Enterprises, Inc., except where it is mentioned on this site.

Notice how the 'Mark' guy who is organizing it doesn't mention being a skydiver? Don't you think if this was a skydiver's idea he'd go 'hey, I am Joe Bloggs, I jump at Fandango DZ and this is me and my friends' great idea!'?

So, are the people organizing this 'Mission Unstoppable global skydiving fund-raising event' skydivers or just whuffos using a novel angle to make a buck???

Well...with any charity you must check the accounting. Any reputable charity will send you a statement on what percentage goes where. It can range from 99% goes to "Expenses" such as salary, green fees, company cars, houses....... and 1% to charity to the entire other side of the spectrum. A lot of charities at least give 30% or more straight to the cause.
