freebird 0 #1 August 23, 2002 My reserve housing was pushing up or should I say bulgging out on the top of the container ( at the neck) My rigger suggested he push the housing out of view and thought that would help get the reserve pin flap to flatten out more. To make the story short. Now my reserve housing is out of sight and not as close to the pin the rings are in the middle. I think that since the pin is so far from the housing that if I had to pull the pin could get caught on the material at the top of the reserve flap. You can not see the reserve cable housing now unless you lift up the flap and the very top of the closing flap you can see the housing . I think the pin should be closer to the housing to avoid getting caught. Thats how it was. I do not care about a bulge if it is not going to hurt andthing. The housing is there for a reason and shoving it back down into the container is not the way to go. It should be tacked at the top of the top reserve flap. A slight buldge at the top of the reserve container is normal for Javelins. Hook
