Canuck278 0 #1 August 25, 2002 Well unfortuanly my plans for jumping today were ruined last night via an unusally large anount of alcohol consumption on my part.....so now i sit at home drinking water and eating asprin like candy while everyone else is up having fun...anyway skydiving was something i always wanted to do, finally managed to do it while on a course on the east coast of canada....there was supposed to be 7 or 8 of us go....we decided to go after consuming some booze in a local establishment....however only 1 person ended up going with me and he has since stopped jumping....SO how did you manage to decide you were going to skydive? I'm so cool sheep count me when they go to sleep..
meatmissile 0 #2 August 25, 2002 Well, it went more or less the same with me. Of the original 37 who did the FJC with me I am the only one still carrying the torch. It sticks to some people more than most. However, I believe that in 90% of people there is a skydiver waiting to emerge. You just have to get through the tough part first. Skydiving is kinda like a coconut. Tough, hairy and porno on the outside and milky and sweet on the inside. Don't give up. The ability to consume copious amounts of alcoholic refreshment is a skill to nurture. The next step is to be able to find your head the next day, screw it in and get in the plane. Good luck! -- ZZZzzzz....
