SatchFan 0 #1 August 27, 2002 ...or do skydivers just seem to be much happier than the general population? Every day I come into work I am surrounded by people who hate their lives. They are not passionate about anything outside of work. Maybe it's an adrenaline thing?? Either way, I look forward to going to the DZ every weekend and hangin' out with people who always have a smile on their face. What are your thoughts? nws01 0 #2 August 27, 2002 I would agree. Everyone is walking around work like zombies today and I am known as the manager who sings all day. They also wonder I laugh at my desk all day long. They don't know about DZ.com either!

tadbad 0 #6 August 27, 2002 I agree. Before I started jumping I was dating a jumper...and was spending every weekend at the DZ. I got hooked on the people and the lifestyle before I even made my first jump. The best bunch of people I have ever met. So, now that I have started jumping it is even better. ----------------------------------------------------- When you're going to extremes...you taste adrenaline!! happythoughts 0 #7 August 27, 2002 "They are not passionate about anything outside of work. " I think this is the key. It's finding something for you. For us, it is skydiving. I have friends who feel this way about scuba and mountain-biking. I believe you are right. Most people hate their lives, they have nothing. That's a terrible thing.
