One week of pure jumping 16th-22nd of september.Full fræs på Oppdalsboogien <--- don't expect to understand, it's Norwegian... Well, no jumping for a couple of weeks. Gotta work. Now I'm off to the movies to see "Insomnia" with my gf. --- Let's go play! --- There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't. CanuckInUSA 0 #2 August 27, 2002 Bummer that your season will end so soon. I guess I should count myself lucky (as well as not forgetting to put on the long-johns) as I should be able to jump all winter long (keeping in mind there will be the odd day that skiing makes much more sense than skydiving). Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
freeflir29 0 #3 August 27, 2002 QuoteBummer that your season will end so soon. No doubt!! The season here in Georgia lasts pretty much year round. It doesn't even get cold until December and warms up again in late March. We still get quite a few sunny 55-60F days through the winter. One of the good things about living so far south. jraf 0 #4 August 27, 2002 Come to Florida - the season is just about to start here. Summer was decent to us - not to many rainy days (so far) but Winter is good. The temperature goes down to below BACKING, the sky is blue, the beer is cold. Here's to Southern Livin' jraf Me Jungleman! Me have large Babalui. freeflir29 0 #5 August 27, 2002 QuoteCome to Florida If I get a call back on a resume I just sent I will be. Kind of unfortunately, it will be in the Panhandle. So, I'll probably do most of my jumping at Gold Coast in MS. However, I will be not THAT far from Deland, Titusville, Flagler, Etc. Plus.....I should be making some pretty FAT BANK so I'll have more cash to skydive and possibly an airplane to get me to the DZ that much faster. jraf 0 #7 August 27, 2002 I'm not impartial - my home DZ is Zephyr Hills. I get probably the best advice from experienced folk, everyone is real friendly and it is real fun hanging out after the last load lands. fudd 0 #9 August 28, 2002 Yep, seasons changes. So far it's been a brilliant automn. Warm and lots of blue skies. Soon the cold will set in, and not much jumping here. However it's an excellent excuse to travel abroad and visit some other DZ's Just a little 4 hour plane trip and a bus ride to Empuriabrava. When I think about it, it's not that expensive. meatmissile 0 #10 August 28, 2002 QuoteDamn, I got more posts than jumps! Cease and desist worrying about it. There are guys on this forum with over 2000 posts and under 25 jumps That's a post/jump ratio of nearly 100:1. I'm sure some have even higher. -- ZZZzzzz....
