I got stopped on my flight from St Louis to Champaign last week (American connection) not for gear, but for pliers in the gear bag. Yeah i had the same problem.. was stopped, just knew the shit was about to start about the parachute.. the guy had me take my parachute out, rummaged around and came out with a small screwdriver i (used) to use on my camera.. they kept the screwdriver and let me go.. bodypilot90 0 #28 August 29, 2002 I just flew orlando to midway on ata, no trouble at all. I have never checked my rig and will not. I just put it in my gear bag. They never gave me any trouble about my cypres or my hook knife I forgot to take off my rig. Go figure!

If I were a TSA employee I would have took it. ____________________________________________________________ I'm RICK JAMES! Fo shizzle.
