TomAiello 26 #4 August 31, 2002 Me too. I'm travelling this weekend, so I'm in stopover-land until Monday. Of course, after that, I'll be in the sweet land of mountains, chocolate, and legal BASE! Magistr8 0 #5 August 31, 2002 stopovers can be fun. Back in my high school days we used to hide nude pictures in magazines and wait in the store to see if anyone pics them uo an stares. Needless to say it can make for some enjoyment while you wait "Impossible is a word to be found only in the dictionary of fools." Brisco 0 #6 September 1, 2002 Waaaaaaaaaa.... your're not the only one not jumping. It's been raining here all week and isn't gonna stop until tuesday!!! So much for a labor day boogie. Rain sucks!! hooked 0 #7 September 1, 2002 Waaaaaaaaaaaaa is right! Beautiful weather here, but I can't jump. I'm working on it though, as scary a thought as there is, I'm working on it! FliegendeWolf 0 #8 September 1, 2002 No jumps for me this weekend, either. All of the instructors have decided that going to Couchfreaks would be more fun than teaching me how to skydive... megscott73 0 #9 September 1, 2002 Well, it's raining here too. No, let me correct that, it's POURING here. And it's soooo windy and cold. Oh well, I guess it's a good renting movies day.======================= "What I want is what I've not got ,but what I need is all around me"-DMB Meghan
Brisco 0 #10 September 1, 2002 At least I was able to do something skydiving related today- I just got back from the DZ where I did my class on parachute packing. I guess I'll go rent "Point Break" again Brisco Brisco Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.

narcimund 0 #12 September 2, 2002 Don't forget Fandango. Stupid movie with 10 minutes of the funniest first jump course ever. (10 minutes ripped off word-for-word and camera-angle-for-camera-angle from a short called "Proof".) First Class Citizen Twice Over

Patkat 0 #16 September 2, 2002 Besides those, I think there is another movie from the sixties about barnstorming skydivers - I've never seen, but I remember it being recommended on the froums many moons ago - the title is something like "The Tiger Moths" - perhaps someone else knows this movie? Oh, and I got six jumps in this weekend, but I also got rained on something fierce, and have to go to work today. Not a bad weekend, but not a spectacular one either. patkat Oh, I see josh chipped in with this info on the Skydiving in Movies thread - thx!Patkat gotta exercise my demons!
