fudd 0 #1 September 4, 2002 Just got to get this off my chest. Keiko turned up in a norwegian fjord, seeking human attention. Probably the poor animal is going to starve to death during the winter. That right STARVE! Thus has a norwegian scientist said it might be best to put and end to Keikos life. For this, american maniacs want to murder the scientist! If your dog would slowly starve to death, would you put it to sleep? Ever since keiko turned up in Norway, it's been all over the news about how ironic it is that he turns up in the backyard of the whalekillers. OK, norway has comersial whale hunting of whale species that are not at all threathend by instinction. We do not hunt the great blue whale, but some of the smaller ones. We hunt them to harvest of mother nature. We do not kill bulls in an arena for entertainment and fun. Capture and keep poor animals like Keiko in a small pool, tourturing him for years. Norwegians are a people that very much care for animals. Most farms still let the cows go outside all day in the summer. Not having them all their life in a crampy small cage. Stop harassing us for hunting whale, and don't blame us if we put Keiko out of it's misery that americans (and some other nations) has put it in.I'm probably going to get flamed for this one, just so good to get it out of my system. meatmissile 0 #2 September 4, 2002 In general I agree with you. Wild animals in captivity just doesn't work for me. I suspect it doesn't work for them either. -- ZZZzzzz....

Says the one scientist. It hasn't starved so far now has it? It's survived for two months on its own now. >We do not kill bulls in an arena for entertainment and fun. And maybe if people left it alone it might get back out to the sea... Erno
