A fitting quote for September 11th Anniversary

Hi All,
I was writing a speech last night for a September 11th ceremony next week and while researching the speech, I came across a very fitting quote, made 137 years ago, that I thought I'd share.

"With malice toward none, with charity for all, with firmness in the right as God gives us to see the right, let us strive on to finish the work we are in; to bind up the nation's wounds; to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow and his orphan - to do all which may achieve and cherish a just and lasting peace, among ourselves, and with all nations."
-Abraham Lincoln, March 4, 1865, His Second Inaugural Address

I'm not all that religious but I remember a time when sombody could say in response to a mention of God:

"Oh, ah, I don't believe in God"

I would say:"That doesn't matter... he believes in you"

Cheezy? Yes. Offensive? Give me a BREAK people!!!

It's soooooo sad that religious beliefs cannot be shared among us because of the few who haven't seen the way and are angry at those who have. Keep in mind, i'm not promoting my way as theway but there has to be a way right! My God goes by many many names. He is not upset if you address him as her, as Boudha, as ET, as.... you may get the point by now he does not get upset when you don't refer to him at all but he DOES get upset if you tell someone else they can't.

Sorry for the rant.;)
