AggieDave 6 #1 September 6, 2002 Yup, it's almost here, we've got some schweet stuff lined up for the boogie, not to mention the CASA and the Super Otter! I'm going to have a DZ.com sign & signup so we know who all is there, we'll see if we can't get a couple dz.com-ways going (RW, FF, CReW &/or Hybrid). TequilaGirl 0 #2 September 6, 2002 Hey Dave - have they made a decision on how much jumps are going to be yet.....
AggieDave 6 #3 September 6, 2002 I know what the pre-register jump tickets cost, they're $18.50. As for the regular price, I'm not sure, I haven't heard, it depends on what we can get fuel for. It'll probably be $20-22, like last year and every other CASA boogie I've been too, though. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." moodyskydiver 0 #4 September 6, 2002 I'll be there Sat and Sun, but I dont know if I'm jumping or not. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."

cloud9 0 #16 September 7, 2002 Hey Dave what the heck is AOT? Where is this going to be? I normally jump in Beaumont but I'm not opposed to a road trip for some Casa jumps! Your going to love that Heatwave, I jump a 150 loaded at about 1.4 it flys very similar to the stiletto. I think its a bit less likely to bowtie in a stall and flys a little more stable in deep breaks but at my jumps numbers what do I know. Anyway it is a great canopy.
AggieDave 6 #17 September 7, 2002 AOT was Ags Over Texas, the old DZ in Bryan, TX. 3 years ago the 182 they jumped (Duct Tape) lost a cylinder on take off and crashed, killing all 5 on board, including the DZO, head pilot and 2 head instructors, thus closing the DZ. This is a memorial boogie for that. Skydive Aggieland operates out of the same airport that AOT used to, although it is not related to the former DZ. We're in Bryan, TX, which is right next to College Station. If you need directions, I can give them to you. Basically we're located 2 miles east of Hwy 6 on Hwy 21. Well, since we're weathered out today, we're working on stuff for the boogie, lets just say it's going to kick ass... Also, Friday, we're doing HIGH ALITITUDE FROM 20K out of the CASA!! Requirements is a C or better (must have it, not just be qualified for it). JUMP TICKETS have been finalized in price at $21, btw.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
