Brisco 0 #1 September 13, 2002 If you haven't already, before reading this post, go read A walk in the woods - post #1 first. You should have come up with descriptions to the scenarios presented. The woods reflect your view of life in general. The cup reflects your view of sex. The wall reflects your view of death. The other side is, well, your view of the other side. sunshine 2 #2 September 13, 2002 I imagined a beautiful forrest with lots of lush green trees and lots of sunshine. So i guess i have a good view of life. I imagined one of those big gold cups like you get as an award. So i guess i have award winning sex. I imagined a red brick wall. I have no idea what that means. I imagined big floppy bunny rabbits on the other side so i guess i'm just a weirdo. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug! Brisco 0 #3 September 13, 2002 Well, I'm not sure about that brick wall either, but it would seem that you view any afterlife as something pleasant. Brisco Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
wmw999 2,587 #4 September 13, 2002 The woods reflect your view of life in general. Well, with lots of different trees, I guess that means variety. The cup reflects your view of sex. I hate to think what the plain old coffee cup means... The wall reflects your view of death. I guess no big deal The other side is, well, your view of the other side. Well, since it's all the same, maybe I should just test the theory. But not THIS weekend! There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
Stacy 0 #5 September 13, 2002 i learned this in colege, it was alittle more detailed. there was a path, and forest, one tree stands out which symbolizes knowledge. it's relation to the path defines how you perceive intelligence in relation to day to day life. path splits, if you follow your dominant side you follow gut instincts, vice versa. stone is spirituality, cup and saucer symbolize relationships (examine position and relativity to each other as well as aesthetics). there was a lake in the one i learned as well which represents sex, your actions towards the lake, it's description. then the wall. basically the same. mine was hysterical, btu quasi accurate. highlights were instead of a cup and saucer i had the mad hatters whole damn tea party. what a way to visualize relationships! the lake i had a jungle, and i was swinging on vines jumping in. knowledge was suprisingly dominant and had branches overhanging into the path like an arbor. i'm a therapist, i do this stuff quite frequently with patients. quatorze 1 #6 September 13, 2002 So how does a peaceful coastal pine forrest measure up. I like to think that the silver goblet shows how I think that sex is beautiful A old worn moss covered wall and a peaceful old low country cabin... I think that is good? hohonukai 0 #12 September 13, 2002 Uh-oh. Well, the woods are Nu'uanu woods off the Pali Hwy. i.e. Huge, tall pine trees...and along their trunks, it looks like eyes. I guess life in general is spacious with a bunch of eyes....eyes are windows to the soul....so spacious with a bunch of souls. I imagined a plastic cup (specifically for beer, first thought). Plastic cup = sex? Sex is cheap? Ah...it's the emotions that count! The wall is a wall made of volcanic rock that locals have stacked to create a wall. Maybe I'll die a sacrifice to a volcano. The other side is more forest. After death, I'll see more souls. Well, personally, that makes sense. Hey, thanks a lot Brisco! It's been fun.

I stopped using it with people when one girls answers were so horrible (the forest is nothing but lots and lots of thorns and vines and i'm tangled up in them). I thought, man, this girl's life must really suck! LOL I was reminded of it with that post about what you would change in your life if you could go back. Interestingly, I wouldn't change a thing so I figure either I'm pretty happy or pretty stupid. Brisco Experience is what you get when you don't get what you want.
