So how about if I get 200 jumps and my D licsense before sept. of 2003, but i don't have 500? will i go back down to a C liscense?

as i understand it everything is going to be grandfathered..........50more jumps and i'm getting my "d"...only need about 10 more acurqacy jumps.....

EVERY rating or license earned under the old system will be grandfathered. Besides, an AFFI has nothing to do with what license you hold really. All you need is a C lic and coach's course/BIC plus the allotted amount of Free Fall time and you can take the course.

Actually, you do need a D license or FAI equivalent to attend to AFFCC.

Under the current rules yes, but under the changed rules it would only take a C to attend AFFCC.

There will also be 2 new licenses an E and F license. The E being 1,000? jumps and F being 5,000 jumps.
