AggieDave 6 #4 September 16, 2002 Oh, that's a SCR ceremony. Texas has it's own ceremony we do for people who did their SCR that day. Very very fun and a great tradition from skydiving yesteryear! Aparently, outside of Texas, people don't really care about SCRs and the ceremonies, what a shame, they should. Those pictures are from Marc (Clusterit), unfortunatly, I can't take credit for those. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #6 September 16, 2002 The hoop SCR is different then a regular SCR. A regular SCR is just your first 8-way or larger that is launched with out grips. Usually, jumpers with a few hundred jumps or more will take a Maggot (someone who doesn't have their SCR) who has around 30-40 jumps up and do it. That is usually their first time on something larger then a 3 or 4 way, which is a total blast for them. Also, its fun for the other people involved, with all the excitement that the maggot has and everything. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
