skymick 0 #1 September 16, 2002 Last weekend my pro-dytter went off at 3'000 (I had it set to go off at 4000, 3000 and 1500) while climbing to altitude in a C-206. Should I worry about this or has this been known to happen with pro-dytters? (On the actual jump it seemed to work fine) Cheers, Mick

PhreeZone 20 #6 September 16, 2002 My Protrack batteries last about 3 months/100 jumps... It could easly be a low battery beep.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
skymick 0 #7 September 16, 2002 nah dont think so according to the manual the alarm should go off at 1000ft for 5 sec, not at 3000ft plus like i said before the low batt light didnt come on and the sound i heard was either the 1st or 2nd alarm (im assuming the low batt alarm the dyteer makes isnt the same as the 1st or 2nd alarms)
Levin 0 #8 September 17, 2002 did you set the pro-dytter in the plane? sometimes when you set it in the plane, in freefall it will go off at higher altitudes than intended. have you contacted l&b? they have some of the best customer service in the industry. if there's something wrong with it they will take care of you. levin vSCR#17, vSCS#
