The alligators are problems. Sometimes they're just lying there, meaning that you recognize them but have them under control. When they attack you is when you have to think about your response. Running away is bad, fighting is good. I had a dream where I was pulling my friends across a pond and the alligators were attacking me. I couldn't fight back because I was trying to save everyone so they were just ripping flesh off of me. I later realized that I was looking out for these friends more than they were looking out for me. Result, got rid of them.

It's pretty amazing how the mind works. Just don't read into it too much. You may have just watched Crocodile Hunter and it was on your mind.

Yep, I'm at work with nothing to do, so here you go:

From http://www.avcweb.com/dreams/subjects.htm :

Alligator – Aggression, assertiveness; In swamp: colon trouble.

Send a description of your dream to "world famous author Jonathan Sharp" and he will personally reply with an email analysis of your dream.

Or enter "alligator" into the symbol search here.

From http://www.dreamdoghouse.com :

This cold-blooded animal could hold several different meanings in your dream. It could symbolically represent something from your memory, emotions, or a current situation or individual in your life. Some think that the alligator represents verbal power used in a destructive way (angry and hurtful words). Others believe that it represents an enemy. Consider the details in your dream and your level of fear. This dream symbol should encourage you to look at some of your more "dangerous" emotions, memories, and experiences. The alligators in your dreams will begin to lose the power to frighten you as your understanding increases. Carl Jung said that all wild animals indicate latent affects (feelings and emotions that we do not readily deal with). They are also symbolic of dangers (hurtful and negative things) being "swallowed" by the unconscious.

Ok, guess I'm done googling for now. Hehe. ;)B|

Man...I was all worn out from working the weekend and spending Friday night at the DZ. I had all these crazy dreams. One was that I was at Rantoul and watched four differen't people pull at 500 Ft and then burn in under P/C in tow. Landed like 50 Ft away. Really whacky....arms flyin off and shit! I woke up thinking....."WTF was that???" [:/]

For the last 2 nights, i've had dreams about Wingnut. In my dreams, he keeps sending me really mean emails and posting mean stuff on dz.com. In one of his mean posts, he said spongebob was stupid.

Hmmm, that's interesting because the alligators aren't really scaring me. In one dream, there was a huge alligator under the sofa at my parent's house, and no was was too concerned about it except for me. I was worried about the kids and the pets. In the other dream, I was swimming with my kids, and there were baby alligators all around us, getting in our way but not bothering us.

My dreams are usually so wacky and out-there, I really don't put too much thought into them. But, the alligator theme just struck me as odd.

No, Nathan, I don't watch his show. Besides, every FL girl knows there are big differences between a crock and a gator!

Maybe I just think someone's going to eat me?
