The sad thing is that I doubt very much it was meant in any form of humor and only meant to hurt the buisness at SDC.

The other thing that hurts is that behind the statistics is the fact that those 6 fatalities in 13 months (just a number to most of you) were all people that I knew and considered my friend to varying degrees. Some were closer than others but all were fellow skydivers. All left family and friends behind that miss them very much.

And that's not funny.

Regardless of how I personaly feel about SDC, I just dont understand how anyone could laugh at this....I knew some of these people that died....and this is just sad....period....

as far as the sign goes....who ever would do that...needs to GROW UP!!!!....and then get a life other than slandering SDC....

I'll be honest. I'm not personally involved with anyone that died there. So, I laughed pretty hard when I saw it. Did you guys ever consider that the person that did this may be a pissed off relative? Maybe it WASN'T done to be "funny." I don't have any feelings whatsoever about SDC. Positive or Negative. I also thought the joke at Rantoul about a t-shirt that says "I jumped at SDC and DIDN'T die" was pretty funny too. It's a bad situation and a lot of people deal with that through humor. It's just human nature.
