Opened nice, even...and it was a Sabre! 4 jumps, one out of that scarey little 182 which is cool once I'm hanging outside it. Beer for my first pack job except I think I bought wine. Sebazz1 2 #82 September 24, 2002 Stiletto 107... Packed by someone else. I made the right decision. It started diving very fast and before I even got to the third revoltuion I chopped it got stable and pulled silver. Right as it happened I kept having this image of a friend who in the same situation earlier this year who may have spent to much time before chopping. It's like he said "dude cut that shit away now" and I did... Eerie! I would like to mention that I performed do as I preach not as I say thingy too Sunday. After the chop I tried to land near to where it appeared my main and freebag would land. I aimed for a twenty foot wide strip of grass beside a two lane higway with fences and power lines nearby. I figured I did not want to jump any fences with my reserve. The power lines and freeway where parallel to eachother. Well 15 feet fromthe ground a very thin solo telephone wire running perpendicular to the road and power lines was hanging in my path. I closed my eyes for a second and have no idea how I did not tag it. Almost like i willed myself through it. Anyway I got lucky. I should have landed in the middle of the field accross the street where there wer no obstacles. Don't land near tree lines, edges of fields, or roads. But it seemed like the best choice given the circumstances. I even have it on video.
