skip 0 #8 October 1, 2002 Humph!!! I will actually be vacationing in Orlando the 21st through the 29th. I had really really wanted to make it out for some skydiving and had actually scheduled some canopy classes with Mr. Miller. However as $$things$$ have worked themselves out I am limited to having a blast with my mother, younger sisters, and Mickey. I’m damn excited to see my family and for the time off of work, so all is not a wash. skymama 37 #9 October 1, 2002 Skip, if there is any way possible that you can scrape together the money to take Scott Miller's class, do it! You will learn more in one day with him then you will in 6 months of hanging around your dz. He sits you down in a classroom and explains the flight characteristics of a canopy in ways that you can understand, gives you something to try in the air, films your landings and debriefs with you before the next lesson. All for the bargain basement price of $25 (that includes your jump ticket), it can't be beat. In 3 lessons last year he fixed the little problem I had with not being able to land on my feet. I'm going back to him soon to learn more advanced canopy skills.
