freaksister 0 #26 October 2, 2002 No there wasn't a double yellow line. This wasn't the freakin' information superhighway, where there are no limits of any kind and people run you over for no reason. This was "in town," and if you didn't stop to turn into the gas station, it would go out of business. LOL Thanks anyway, Kev., but the other guy is SCREWED. He doesn't stand a chance. Remember that saying, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned?" Well, change the word to ran over, and put us on tv on the People's Court. It's about to get ugly in here. riddler 0 #28 October 2, 2002 I think the statistic in Parachutist was 10,000 miles driven in a car has same risk of death as 17 skydives. Do I have those numbers right?Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD
DJL 235 #29 October 2, 2002 QuoteIt's about to get ugly in here. Just let the lawyers do the bad-guy work and you stay cool. Have them go for everything they can. Screw this guy, you could be dead right now. Hey, I have a lot of love for my fellow man but all this guy would get is reckless, insurance will probably drop him for a while but he'll be driving again in a month. jams 0 #30 October 2, 2002 Sis, although i am saddened to hear of your injuries i am so happy to hear that you narrowly escaped catastrophe! It sounds like you are in need of a specialist for your back and neck, so find a good osteopath. Also, document all the weird feelings you have as your body comes out of shock. Statistically state farm is known for taking care of claims, you might find out how much coverage the idiot has... so that you can be taken care of during this healing process. And don't take the adjusters initial offer for the value of your car, these things are somewhat negotiable.... and when the tour resumes you better plan on coming to northern cal too!!! matt2
