Steps to starting a pay-per-view website: Acquire the nudie pics (ongoing) Pick a domain name and acquire it. Contract with an adult-site-friendly ISP Design the open content pages Design the restricted content pages Design the commerce pages Engineer the content database Write the content-delivery CGI Acquire a merchant account Contract with a transaction service Write the commerce CGI Populate the content database Test the site Market the site Some of these steps might be optional if you can find opensource resources. Scoby 0 #8 October 2, 2002 For what it's worth, I used to work for a large internet porn company. Even when I started working there (over three years ago), the window for making money easily selling porn on the net was closing. There is a lot of content out there, much of it free, and it is hard to charge decent money anymore. A really high amount of payments turn out to be fraudulent and keeping payment companies is hard. Also, porn gets really, really boring after a while.

WFFC 1 #15 October 2, 2002 The easiest way to do it is to actually purchase an existing site, hire the existing admin and let it go from there. Building a site can be expensive and time consuming if you don't know what you're doing. I've built two for clients and then turned the keys over to them once it was all set up. Derekbox 0 #16 October 2, 2002 Reality: If you want simple start up. No such thing. But there are simpl equick ways to make cash doing it. I suggest either 1) pose for an established site - they pay cash 2) there are services that generate "sites" where you are a member of the site, and you get a pay cut out of the revenue. 3) goto the DZ, bring a stripper pole, when the beer light comes on, shake that ass, make it a touring show, come to Deland and give me a couple free lap dances for the idea.
