sangiro 26 #1 October 3, 2002 Heya all, I went to the American Embassy today to get fingerprinted for my work visa. This is after the original 2 week delay. I had a flight scheduled to Los Angeles via San Francisco for tomorrow morning at 9am. Got printed and told it will take the FBI 4-6 weeks to process the fingerprints. In some cases it has taken 16 weeks! In my timeframes, that's a small lifetime! Additionally the shipping company has already collected my boxes including my rig for shipping. I only have 2 suitcases left. I cannot even go skydive. I'm trying not to get annoyed with this. If they were this thorough with everyone the Pope wouldn't get into the country!
