freaksister 0 #1 October 4, 2002 My car was a total loss. When I went to the tow yard to get my personal items from it, I got sick at my stomach! What a shock to see the damage again after a week. Of course, I am glad to be alive and able to jump! (I am going to try, anyway). I am like Slappie, I am technically current but haven't jumped much. I am nervous so I am going to jump with a coach or something. I hope it is like riding a bike...

flyhi 24 #4 October 4, 2002 QuoteI hope it is like riding a bike... It's even easier than that. It's more like shooting fish off a log. And I wouldn't worry about the car thing. That's just spilt milk under the bridge. Good luck, I'm sure you'll do fine.Shit happens. And it usually happens because of physics.
freaksister 0 #5 October 4, 2002 Oh yes, very true...I agree with you 100%. I am very thankful to be alive and well wasting time here on the forums when my house is a disaster, I have 14 necklaces to make which are past due and a lot of other stuff too. Being out of pocket for a week makes you crazy, man! Cheers!
freeflir29 0 #6 October 4, 2002 QuoteI am nervous so I am going to jump with a coach or something No big deal sweety. I just took a friend on a jump after he was gone to Afghanistan for 3 months. He was really nervous but did just fine other than backsliding like a Mofo in a sit. I took 6 months off when I got out of the military. Pretty nervous when I came back but after I stepped off Mullin's king air I was back home. Felt very natural actually.
