skybytch 273 #1 October 4, 2002 I'm off to the Hi Desert Airport in Joshua Tree as soon as I can get out of work on Friday. It's the Old Farts Boogie, a biannual (that's every other year, right?) gathering of people who jumped in southern California back in the 60's and 70's, and their friends. I didn't jump back then (I may be old, but I'm not THAT old), but a good friend of mine did and he invited me to go with him. I went two years ago and was one of only two people there who'd never jumped a round... A lotta history will be walking around that airport this weekend... Should be a kick ass party!
