Zennie 0 #9 October 7, 2002 Cool Tiff. I could tell you were excited just talking to you yesterday. Yes, Slap, we Minions of the Dark have claimed another one. Ya know what I really, really want to do? I'd love to get 4 freefliers together and compete in the TSL RW meets in our freefly suits. The only rule would be that no one on the team can take it seriously. A bunch of freefliers cranking out RW jumps & hooting it up the whole time. That would be hilarious! "Man did you see how we funnelled that exit? That was GREAT! Let's do it again!" I'd do it just for the dirty looks we'd get. - Z "Always be yourself... unless you suck." - Joss Whedon
Slappie 9 #10 October 7, 2002 I just might be up for that next year.. I still like the idea of us doing RW on our backs, turning points an stuff.. then tracking away on your back.. to flip over an deploy when the dive is over "Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them." freeflir29 0 #11 October 7, 2002 Cool!!!! I went with Ben (Hisgoofyness) on a sit dive yesterday. He spun a lot...mostly cause he was tense and stiff. I must have given him the RELAX signal about 4 or 5 times through the dive. He did pretty good though and had good alti awareness. That's the most important part. Welcome to the darkside. It's really cool over here.
Derekbox 0 #12 October 7, 2002 We had a team that did that. Deland hosted an FSL meet a few weeks back, there was a team there - "The Virgins" All freeflyers. ;) I think they were from Zhills pr sebastion or something like that. I know in one of the jumps - I *think* it went to hell so a couple of hem just flipped went dead down and started FF, hehehe was great video too (esp considering I the camera guy forgot his helmet so he HANDHELD the damn camera for the jump, almost loising it only once.). They were some cool ass peeps. Ohh yeah I think only one had an RW suit, and it was a borrowed Skydive Deland student suit. ...In The End the Darkside Shall triumph over all... Stacy 0 #13 October 7, 2002 the tumblefuqs did this as well. i heard a *rumor* that they tried to recruit tami carbone for a round as well and she was busy and laughed.
homer 0 #14 October 7, 2002 Did you hit it right or was it more of a lazy boy sit? I did my first free flies this weekend and you know something. I don't see what all the fuss is about. I'm a sit fly man and proud of it. CSA #699 Muff #3804
Kennedy 0 #15 October 7, 2002 That is by far the coolest idea I've heard in a long while. SCHWEET !! witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
homer 0 #16 October 7, 2002 You know I never thought about that before, but it does sound fun for that last jump/ hit and chug of the day. CSA #699 Muff #3804
freebird 0 #17 October 7, 2002 I was upside down and turned around on the whole dive. I finally got in a sit for a couple of Seconds and I was getting closer to my buddy. WOW!!!!! I was humming. I never in my whole skydiving life had such a blast. I was upside down (on my back ) I knew it was normal because I was trying to get in a sit. I was still checking alt. as I was on my back I felt so free yet in control....

homer 0 #19 October 7, 2002 Sounds like my first few atemps. I don't know how you get into position, but I find bringing my knees forward as it to start a back flip and as I start to rotate up bring my arms back and look at the horizon. Then relax and enjoy the ride. I find RW in a sit more exciting than a RW at belly. CSA #699 Muff #3804
freebird 0 #20 October 7, 2002 I also want to make sure my buddy (if I have exited with one) is in my horizontal view before I go into a full sit. I have to see them in a angle. IF they are right under me I have to get them back in a angle view. I do not know how to back track without getting back on my belly. It was a wild ride I loved it. I was ALWAYS very aware even though I was not too stable as I was trying to get in that sit fly
homer 0 #21 October 7, 2002 Once you get it down you should try launching in a sit together. Just interlock your knees together and hold it as tight as a morman girl at the prom. Then release when stable. Its kinda fun when you loose your grip and the other jumper has you by the ankle between the knees causing you to be on your back.u CSA #699 Muff #3804
freebird 0 #22 October 7, 2002 Actually I did do that on my first I think. I got out toward the tail with my feet in the door and my arm extended in the wind. He got out behind me and I gave the count. I tryed to exit in a sit with him behind me. He held me with his feet for a while( and did a fine job) On the second jump we did the same thing. when we let go it was because we were in a wicked spin or something as I launched away from him I was in a wicked spin which I stoped.
