Remster 30 #26 October 8, 2002 QuoteIn my eyes it's sorta a meca of skydiving. How soon they forget...... the City is a fairly new DZ, all things considered. I think most folks would call either Deland or Pheonix the FL meca of skydiving, but Pheonix moved to Lake Wales. Its lost a bit of its appeal since, but it still attracts some wild caracters (have a sit down with Frenchie if he's still around). Dont get me wrong, the City is a fine DZ...Remster

" And make sure to ask Frenchie if he needs some help with the fire. I first met Frenchie at Phoenix. Some Brits were giving him a hard time and he said "I talk to the Queen today. I told her you very bad man." Remster, have you got your "French Connection" number?
happythoughts 0 #28 October 8, 2002 Quote Quote (ok, so I'm biased, sue me.) Ok, how much are you worth? It seems we only want you for your money anyway. Wealthy beyond your dreams. I just sold my second car last weekend, an '82 El Camino. I am going to take the money and go for a wild dinner and drinks night out at Shoneys. With what is left over, I'll leave a handsome tip (I know this is an extravagance, don't mean to shock our Canadian brethren).

happythoughts 0 #34 October 9, 2002 Quote Quote "French Connection" number ?????there are just wayyyyy to many numbers out there! lol Frenchie always is the last out on the first load. Jumps solo, dumps high. Then he spends the rest of the morning chopping wood for the evening fire. Frenchie will not let anyone dock on him. If you get to know him really well and he trusts you, you can do a two-way. Hence, the "French Connection". I think it is less than 100 still.
