These books are awesome. I read all four.

I had the good fortune of being in London during opening weekend of the movie last November. So I got to see "Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone" as opposed to the Sorceror's Stone. I do agree what someone else said, the book is better than the movie, but considering the time constraints of the film, they did a pretty good job.

As for my predictions, I do believe Harry will end up with Ginny Weasley, but first she will become a very powerful force. I think she has a lot of untapped powers. I see Hermione hooking up with Woods and I think Ron is basically going to just be a guy slut. He may even give Professor McGonagall a twirl.

If you happen to watch the movie, there is a scene in the trophy room with Harry, Hermione and Ron.
Are you aware that McGonagall played on the Quid team with James Potter?
She will prove to be a powerful ally for Harry....

Don't you agree that Ginny Weasly is going to emerge to become a very powerful witch? I think it will also be a mystery as to whether her agenda is for good or evil.

Well, she's already been used as an evil puppet once, so, maybe she's a powerful conduit for evil and can't quite control it yet because of her youth. Actually, a Ginny/Draco relationship seems to make a bit of sense later on. Sure would piss off Ron, which (witch?) would also be a good thing for tension.

Maybe Draco will eventually go through something in a later book that will give him a change of heart. It was sort of alluded to with the Moody/ferret inncident in the start of the 4th book.

Ginny is a free thinker, a rebel. She's been smothered by all those brothers all her life. You watch, when she realizes she has greater powers than the rest of the family, she will begin to call the shots.

My theory is that Harry will have to give up his life to finally/totally kill off Voldemort in the end. So no one will end up with Harry.
As for Herimone... Ron or someone else.

Ginny... might turn in any direction... both relationship and power wise.

Wow. I'm glad to see I'm not the only Hotter Potter fanatic around here. I've read all the books and listened to them on CD. I have been so hungry for more Harry that I am currently reading them for the third time while waiting for the release of the 5th book (May is the latest date I've heard). I was given the first book 3 years ago for my birthday and read the first two before my daughter became interested in them. We can't wait for November 15 and the release of "Chamber of Secrets"
