butt bugee replacement.

i have a mirage g4, which originally had a black butt bungee. i had my local rigger do some harness work, and unfortunately had to remove the original black bungee and replace it with white. i wouldn't normally care but i just feel it looks tacky, and he doesn't have black. anyone know what kind of bungee or where i can get some black replacement?

Almost all scuba diving suppliers stock bungee of various thicknesses. Of course being hardcore techie types it will almost certainly be available in tactical black

No one will care but if you do, then go to a hardware store. They probably don't have plain black but do have other mixed color shock cords in bulk.

thanks for the answers everyone, gonna look around. i was told by my rigger that 1/8 inch is the way to go, but he didnt specify a stretch factor. i guess the stretchier the better.

Look on ebay, shock cord 1/8 inch, any color you like
