Muenkel 0 #1 October 10, 2002 This is a serious question with all good intentions. So don't flame anyone on this thread. Should a person who is not currently jumping due to reasons beyond their control, but still have a love for skydiving be allowed to post on Dropzone.com? _________________________________________ Chris

Magistr8 0 #3 October 10, 2002 Yes why not, there are a lot of people who come on here who have not jumped and are seeking answers. I for one was one of these people and have learned a lot from the questions that I asked as well as the good nature of the people on here. nacmacfeegle 0 #7 October 10, 2002 yes, absolutely, and I don't hold with this 'your posts should be less than your jump numbers' poop either! And doesn't the forum intro say something about this being the place for jumpers and whuffoes alike to hang out....-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. sangiro 26 #9 October 10, 2002 Quote Should a person who is not currently jumping due to reasons beyond their control, but still have a love for skydiving be allowed to post on Dropzone.com? I really don't care if yo mama (who may hate skydiving) comes and posts here.... as long as she sticks to the 4 simple rules. On the other hand, I don't care if you have 10,000 jumps, eats and breaths skydiving and the sun shines brightly out of your ass, if you don't stick to the rules you can move right along. Believe me, there is a method to this whole madness! I'm kinda feisty that way! Safe swoops Sangiro
Muenkel 0 #10 October 10, 2002 Thanks Sangiro, I appreciate that. I have taken the 4 rules to heart several months ago and will continue to do so. Blue skies bro and enjoy France. _________________________________________ Chris

nws01 0 #12 October 10, 2002 When the winter comes and all the dz's close down up here I won't be jumping either, Muenkel. I will be posting though. And I will follow the 4 rules because they rule!

kiltboy 0 #18 October 10, 2002 I don't know about them all closing. I've jumped at Jumptown in Orange MA on a brisk winter's day. Thanksgiving a couple of years ago it was -20 at exit from 14,000. Felt chilly on the way down and truth be told that was my last jump of the day. Cessna jumps can and do happen in winter though the DZ tends to operate after midday. Best to get in touch with the folks at Manifest for operations in the snowy months but it does happen. David
