I would like to learn and I have a few questions????

Recommended Posts

Hi. I have always wanted to try sky diving but I have not been able to because I haven't been old enough and then I join the air force and when you are training you aren't allowed to do anything hazardous. Anyways, I am sorry to use all of your time but like I said I would love to try it and I was wondering were to find places to learn. I live in Central Ohio. Any information would be appriciated. Thank you for your time.

Hi!
The age thing sucks doesn't it? I'm waiting to turn 18 so I can jump! (1 more month-yeah!) Haha.
I came here to learn more also, and I can say that I definitely have. Just reading through everything has helped a lot, and talking to people too. Everyone is really nice and helpful!
I wish ya the best of all luck!

Um yeah, they want to keep their kids from getting hurt...maybe have them make the decision with more wisdom....maybe have their kids understand the risks....weird...

Understand that this sport is dangerous. I don't want young people hurting themselves because they didn't have the forthought to see what might happen. When you turn 18, well, then it's your decision to take the risk. Hopefully you have enough wisdom at that point to make the right choice for you.

I'm drowning...so come inside

One of these must work for you. Jump with both feet in or take one tandem and retire. go with the flow quit the army become a packrat live and enjoy. If it likes you, wellcome to being broke!

[rant]Will you people stop with the forking & html crud? Learn how to use these forums -- they use markup, NOT html. If you have questions about what will and won't work hit the "Get Markup Help" and for Pluto's sake preview you post so you can see what tripe you're sending before you post it! [/rant]

God, I need a cigarette after that!;)

Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money.

Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?

that's interesting as there is more than 1 air force skydiving team -- cadets and instructors included.

hey don't worry about wasting anyone's time, it's only HH's bandwidth ;):)

It will change your life!Wink

I used to be a respectable guy. College degree. Nice house. Regular girlfriend. Stable, 6-figure job.

Now, I'm a punk kid with bleached hair, no real job and I spend all my money on skydiving. Can anyone recommend a good place to get your nose pierced?

And on that note! It's 6 pm Friday Denver time, just got blown off by a girl for tonight. I got a case of beer in the fridge. Who wants to come over to my place?
Trapped on the surface of a sphere. XKCD

So Phil

Will you be at Brush tomorrow or Mile-Hi? I plan on making the trek to Brush in early November (likely for the entire weekend), but I can only jump for a few hours during the day tomorrow and that means my short 25 minute drive to Longmont instead of the hour and more to Brush.

PS: I can attest to the riddler's punk hair. But then again, I got tattooed this summer as well. :o

Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
