arlo 0 #1 October 22, 2002 I know that I'm not alone in these words, so I feel relatively confident in speaking for others... I would like to thank EVERYONE that supported Jump for the Cause. The JFTC MEN there throughout the week gave us nothing but their support and encouragement each and every day. You guys rocked the house. TOO, I loved the fact that you shamelessly AND selflessly showed your support by wearing those outstanding pink panties. I mean this. My skydiving brothers in Zhills did similar things this summer to help with JFTC, and you guys threw yourselves on that hand grenade and it was most appreciated....even in the cold. :) I absolutely commend all of you guys for making our lives easier last week. Any group that opts to hang out and support 130-something women all week long is either doing so selflessly or they need their heads examined. To everyone that donated time or money or both: thank you so much!!!! Because of all the efforts this year the City of Hope will have a new stereotactic biopsy room funded by (y)our efforts!!! This means that someone's life will be saved because of your efforts. Can I prove this? Nope...not yet. Do you know what a HUGE thing it is to save someone's life?? It's phenomenal. Just digest that thought. But the BIGGEST thanks go out to the people that have been affected by cancer...either directly or indirectly. Support is so vitally important during times like that. The inner strength it takes to deal with stuff like this is beyond what alot of people can even fathom. Thank you for showing the world what true strength is and continue to stay strong and hopefully we'll erradicate this fucking disease before we lose many more loved ones. thank you...
