wildblue 7 #3 October 24, 2002 This just showed up on MSNBC ... let's hope it's true, and it's the gun they're looking for ---- ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 24 — A rifle capable of firing the type of bullets used in the Washington-area sniper attacks has been found in the car where two men linked to the case were arrested overnight, NBC’s Pete Williams reported Thursday. A former Army soldier and his teenage stepson, arrested at a Maryland rest stop, could be charged with murder later Thursday, law enforcement sources told NBC. The two were identified as John Allen Muhammad, 41, and Lee Malvo, 17. Added one source: “The general sentiment is we got our guys.
