I don't think they will ever pass a law against spam....like all the circulars we get in the mail, it's a form of advertising....which sux....

I don't think that analogy is entirely correct. I think it's more like TV commercials, except it's WAY cheaper. It's only going to worse and worse as more people jump on the bandwagon realizing how cheaply they can advertise. I'm no internet expert but I have to think that spam is eventually going to start clogging up the works and become more than just an annoyance.

I'm pretty sure that some amount of legislation has already been passed in the US concerning unwanted email advertisements...don't know much about it though, I'm not a lawyer: I have a soul.

Yeah, but who buys this shit? Has anyone ever actually bought one of those mini spy camera things? I don't hear people do anything but complain about spam, but if it wasn't making money somehow, it wouldn't be there. Is it just the simple fact of how cheap it is to spam that they only need one or two people to buy their product to cover the overhead?

I'd never buy anything advertised by spam. Or anything advertised by really annoying tv-commercials.

Must be. I bet those two people complain about spam the same as everyone else, but they don't understand that the spycamera they bought just also bought a few thousand additional spam messages.
