BikerBabe 0 #27 October 26, 2002 have you just walked down the strip yet? Seriously, I could spend days in Vegas and never say "hit me" once. Some of those places are absolutely incredible to just wander around in. Vegas is the greatest place for people watching. IF you hurry, you can go see the "Art of the Motorcycle" at the Guggenheim Las Vegas in the Venetian...it's really cool. Or just go to the art museum at the Bellagio. Ride the roller coaster at New York New York. Take a date to the top of the Stratosphere. Go to the "zoo" at the MGM Grand. Ack! I wanna go!Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup!

Skitzo 0 #29 October 26, 2002 If I'm not at the drop zone, I'm wishing I was there. Its very hard to find anything else as satisfying. Actually, its impossible, I've been to amusement parks since road the rides that are suppose to give you the "thrill of a lifetime" I find myself rolling my eyes like I cant believe I stood in line for 1 1/2 hours for that! I'd rather sit on a cessna for 45 minutes in a storm! The other things I do to try and entertain myself are working out, rollerblading, occasional movie, and watching my skydiving videos. jfields 0 #38 October 28, 2002 Speed Racer, I totally agree with you. I'm also in the same boat as far as jumping once every month or so. There is a lot of other stuff to do other than jumping. I doubt I'll ever be in the "practically lives at the DZ" crowd. A big part of that is being in a relationship where my wife doesn't jump. My jumping is a compromise and I'm not willing to be an ass and go jumping every weekend. I also have to pull my weight in the care of my daughter. I'm sad to say it, and it isn't directed at anyone in particular, but I see a whole lot of discussion about "Ex's" and "damned whuffos" on the boards. Maybe, just maybe, it isn't the whole rest of the world that is fucked up. Sometimes, people get a little too obsessed with one thing and lose touch with reality. Skydiving is great, but I think a lot of the divorce I read about in the forums is due to people just being damned selfish. Like I said, this isn't directed at any particular individual. It's just some observations on our fun dysfunctional family as a whole.
