The Ring {movie} no-spoilers

I went to see "The Ring" Saturday night.. It was a toss up to see that or Jackass the Movie. I figured Jackass would be hilarious but it's nothing the TV screen is going to miss when it comes to video which it will soon.

Anyways. I didn't know anything about it. Let me tell you.. I had goose bumps from the begining to the end! I even caught myself yell out loud. It's got to the the best suspence movie I've seen in ALONG time. I suggest everyone who has even thought about it go see it. It's worth the money an you will deffinetly come out glad you did. It's not a gorefest. C'mon it a PG-13 that blew my sox off!! I can't wait till the "Directors cut" makes it to DVD.

dying to see it -- naomi watts ROCKED DA HOUSE with her performance in mulholland drive, and i'm anxious to see how she faired in this flick...

She pulled off one hell of a preformance. I seriously recomend this film to anyone who enjoys seat of your pants excitement. An I'm sure there are a few of us on these boards who enjoy that type of stuff

I liked it. The couple I went and saw it with also liked it.

I'm a big wuss about scary movies b/c they really freak me out. I had to sleep with the light on and the tv on cartoon network! But again, I'm a total wuss about scary movies (perfect date ). It was good, but don't set your expectations too high, any movie will suck if you do that. This one is better if you go in not knowing anything about it.

Jt - what I told you still stands, but I don't want to post it b/c it will spoil the movie for most others.

Wanna come over an watch "The Exorsist" heheh That movei scared me for years.. I was only 12 the first time I saw it though.. That an my mom took me to see "The Omen" when it first came out too.. I still have a hard time watching either one. But, I'm willing to make an exception in your case Gypsy

I haven't seen either of those moves and I don't plan on seeing anything else scary until Thanksgiving when a certain person has promise the full vacation of mine to be filled with scary movies! Don't get me wrong though, I like scary movies, but they just totally get to me.

I still get freaked out when it's night time and it's really dark out and someone will say chuckie! Stupid I know, but totally freaks me out. Just ask Jt about him scaring me one late night on the phone!

i saw the movie yesterday with my gf and couple of friends. my gf didn't see probably 25%
of the movie hidding under my jacket :) very cool movie.

i agree. The Ring was teh creepiest movie i have seen in a long long time. I don't usually like horror movies--not because I get scared, but because I get bored--it's always the same tired theme with the same campy plot points and yadda yadda yadda, but the Ring was great. One piece of advice to those wanting to see it: try to avoid hearing anything about it. I went in only having seen 1 teaser trailer in july in the theater and I loved it.

by the way, Jackass was hilarious. Some of that stuff was just ridiculously funny. But, as was said, you won't miss anything by waiting to rent it since it's all shot on digital video cameras anyway.
