reply from max cohn, national director candidate, WRITE IN

Recommended Posts

hello everyone, thanks for the lively reply, i would have answered earlier, but i figured i'd let some more questions roll in so could address as much as possilbe in my reply.
Ok, i'm not on the ballot because i didn't consider running until a conversation in late september with eastern director Mike Perry. In our conversation, we felt that i should run, regardless of doing it as a write in or not. (vote for mike perry if you live in his region!) :)
Not sure how to respond to the dual personality issue from grumpy smurf...'i', 'I', whichever, i guess i have as many personalities as anyone;)

For anyone asking about the diamond 0.3x lens, i'm sure royal-lens.com would be more than happy in taking your order, i think they sell for $175 plus s/h B|

there was a question on the GM program. I'm not sure of my position on that. there are probably many things that, if elected, that i will get an education on. Many things will not be my expertise, but that is the nature of a well rounded board. Some are experts on some things, and others on different issues
all i can promise is to try to do things in the interest of the members
and for Phreezone's questions
I think that there is always room for the USPA to communicate with its members more. I feel confident that i can be easily contacted by email (max@generationfreefly.com), i'm online all day when at home and as much as possible when on the road.
I don't think i ever let any emails to me go unanswered (i do my best).

I don't think that my active jumping will effect my communication to the members because i'm online all the time already, so its an easy form of communication for me. (go ahead and email me, really)
as far a the JM, bsr, aff questions, i'll definitely need to do more research with the board and with skydivers to take a position on that.
like i said, i won't claim to be an authority on issues that i'm not. those topics (which there will be several) i will need to learn as much as possible about and try to look out for the best interests of the USPA and its members..(not to sound too vague, but is an honest answer)

thank you all for your lively responses and questions
keep them up, that's the job i'm running for;)

and WRITE IN MAX COHN, national directorB|
best regards
max

I have certainly recieved a lot of communication from Max when I was inquiring about a Diamond lens. I didn't end up buying one, but that is because I probably wouldn't get good results from it at first. He took the time to attach and send a short video that was made with it just to show me what it looks like. :)
However, it is certainly on my list of goodies for the future!
