wlie 0 #5 October 31, 2002 When are you taking her skydiving? Not thinking of using her to get your tandem rating are you? My other ride is the relative wind.
Casch 0 #6 October 31, 2002 She's off runnin around the house right now...hehe. If I took her tandem during nap time she would never know it. I once thought she was dead cause when I picked her up she was totally out of it. She wasn't moving at all. This went on for 5 minutes before she finally opened her eyes and nipped me
Jessica 0 #7 October 31, 2002 I wanna ferret... They're one of the the only kinds of furry animal I'm not allergic to. But they eat birds. Skydiving is for cool people only
Casch 0 #8 October 31, 2002 LOL I remember when I first got her, I wanted to see if her "instincts" were still in tact and I introduced her to a gerbil...it wasn't easy to get the gerbil head out of her mouth and keep it attached to the body
narcimund 0 #9 October 31, 2002 One summer in college a friend asked me to keep her two ferrets. Another friend asked me to keep her hampster. Bad combo. I kept the hampster alive for almost the whole summer. Eventually the ferrets found a way into a locked, weighted, solid glass cage. There was hampster fluff all over the room, but nothing else was ever found. First Class Citizen Twice Over
Casch 0 #10 October 31, 2002 LOL I used to have 2 gerbils but one got fed up with the gerbil food and ate the other gerbil...
moodyskydiver 0 #11 October 31, 2002 My ferrets are pretty interesting..they like to chase and attack the cat. kinda funny really...all you see is a furcovered streak flash by and then the ferrets hoppin across the room after her. Casch 0 #12 October 31, 2002 hehe Angel likes to groom my cat but she gets a little rough sometimes...I know...she likes to groom my hair and every once in a while she will clamp down on a tuft of hair and thrash around like a dog playing tug of war...it hurts like a biatch
Pammi 0 #13 October 31, 2002 I LOVE ferrets! Miss the one that I had. I would love to have another, but with all the creatures we have, I'm afraid there'd be a real clash. We already have to be careful with watching out for our new parakeet so she doesn't get eaten...ALL of our creatures are interested in seeing how she tastes it seems! moodyskydiver 0 #14 October 31, 2002 Same here! We have a dang zoo goin on around our property:9 horses, 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets. It gets really interesting and pretty entertaining at times. "...just an earthbound misfit, I."
Pammi 0 #15 October 31, 2002 LOL! I hear ya Amber. Moving out here to NC from OK with a fish, a frog (water one), a hamster (recently deceased of old age), two cats and three dogs all in the Durango with me was insane. It was quite a trip!

pyke 0 #19 October 31, 2002 Yeah.....ferrets are cool!!! Used to own 2 of them myself, but watch out if you get a runt of a litter...some of them are more vicious than any mean kitten ever will be. Used to keep me in regular supply of bactine and band-aids. Other than the odd one like that.....THEY'RE AWESOME, loving pets!!!One thing I found....the plastic "thingies" on store bought water jugs....they LOVE THOSE!!!!! Used to pull the empty jug all around the house by the plastic spout....funniest damn thing you ever saw!!! Kahurangi e Mahearangi, Kiwi, RB #926, AFF-I, FAA Snr. kingbunky 3 #22 November 1, 2002 geez, go get a ferret for yourself, then jinx will have someone to play with when (s)he comes to visit. two ferrets are waaaaay better than one. they're very social. just make sure you buy a baby, not an adolescent. it takes longer to cure a 'teen-age' ferret of nipping than it does a baby. goose491 0 #23 November 1, 2002 This is a great idea. I have been thinking about getting another. Jinx however does have a bit of a 'social' problem as she is a dwarf or midget.... Seriously! She wasn't really over a year old when she stopped growing. I've heard from all sources that the only thing better than a ferret is two but Jinx takes a lot of time to warm-up. Jinx is a Sable, I'd like to get a Cinnamon male. Does anyone on this thread have ferrets other that Sable? My Karma ran over my Dogma!!!
