AggieDave 6 #2 November 3, 2002 I've had a couple of weekends where it took a day or so to get my hearing back to normal, mainly due to pressure changes/headcold stuff. Do you have fluid coming out of your ears? Did your ears hurt really bad on a jump? Maybe Skymedic or someone with more knowledge then me can help you along better then I can. Rookeskydiver 0 #3 November 3, 2002 i feel fluid inside both ears. like just coming out of a pool. if i tilt my head a certain way i can fell the fluid, but im not extracting any. Ducky 0 #4 November 3, 2002 Man oh man I can realte. I jumped my beer rig for the presecond time yeaterday. I was unable to jump it a second time because my ears hurt so bad. I felt a lil sick yesterday morn and just got worse as the day progressed. My hearing is just now starting to return after 2 packs of gum and every decongestant I could get my hands on. I sure as hell won't jump again with congestion. I knew this b4, but could not possibly NOT jump my rig that I been sleeping with all week. kwakSometimes your the bug, sometimes your the windshield. When I was a student I made my first two full altitude jumps with a head cold. I ruptured both ear drums and damaged my inner ear. Vertigo is only fun for the first two minutes. I did that on a Saturday and didn't feel the vertigo until Wednesday. I would advise you to go get checked out, you don't want to mess with your hearing. Anne ~Anne I'm a Doll!!!!
