pop 0 #1 November 4, 2002 Well, I drove to San Marcos from Houston with hopes of getting to feel the relative wind engulfing my body. No such experience happened due to the 3-week ongoing rain marathon fest here in the Southern Texas. But at least I got a chance to sit in on a USPA Coach Class. It was nice to go over certain skydiving information in a classroom environment. Even though I didn't get chance to jump, I still learned a great deal about the safety in the sport.7 ounce wonders, music and dogs that are not into beer
Sebazz1 2 #2 November 4, 2002 So I guess you don't want to hear about sunny C....Um nevermind. Don't want to rub it in. Actually we could borrow some of that rain out here in Cali. We are kinda in a semi serious drought situation. Just don't send it over on the weekends...

freeflir29 0 #8 November 4, 2002 Riding to altitude Sunday afternoon. The Casa right seater turns around and says "Would let everyone know it's raining?" I just did.... "Is anyone staying on?" Nope......It actually wasn't that bad...just a little sprinkle. Didn't even notice that much until I got under canopy. By 3 PM Sunday it was getting down to around 6-7K though. That's been standard for about the last 6 weekends......Oh well...I'll take 1 1/2 days over none.
skyboyblue 0 #9 November 4, 2002 Quote Spaeland flew 2 loads Saturday morning! That's funny, sounds like the rest of the country was not doing so well. I live in the land of crappy weather, nebraska, and we put up something like 7 or so static liners. I personally made 4 and I slept in till 10. I didn't think I was gonna make one when I looked out the window. then again all I need is 3k to have fun.
