AggieDave 6 #10 November 4, 2002 Good luck to yall... If you wanted a get well joke, go get him a kidney pie and give it to him in the hospital, or cook some kidney beans...I know if it was me something like that would really make me laugh after a kidney surgery.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." freebird 0 #12 November 4, 2002 kidney pie *** Yea thats a good idea. I have to get him something because transplant patients can not have flowers. He will be taking drugs that suppress his immune system so that new kidney will not get rejected. I have to wear a mask when Im in his room for a couple of days. Plants all have to be gone from our apartment. I like the kidney pie idea though

novacaine 0 #17 November 5, 2002 My thoughts and preys go out to you and your family! A good friend of mine underwent kidney surgery last summer. I could tell you how stressful for me it was, but I sure you already know that. In October, after a long recovery I that the pleasure of going scuba diving with him for the first time in months. I'm sure your husband will be fine. My buddy is, so I am sure your husband will. Send you good vibes.
