the cast is OFF

Recommended Posts

:)For the past two weeks it has ached a little and I have had no trouble walking on it.I honestly thought that it would be "jump ready"as soon as the cast came off.I posted something about wanting to know how long I should wait til I jumped again once the cast came off and right now I completely believe all of the comments that all of you replied with.My right calf is a friggin STICK.Someone said"If I can jump off of a picnic table and run ,with NO pain, then I can think about jumping again.Well,I aint even gonna TRY that yet:S.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the advice you guys have given me.
One more thing.I took a shower,a REAL shower this evening.:)

Woohoo! Congrats on shedding the plaster!B| Just take it easy and remember the lesson learned. I jumped a sore knee and had a funky landing. Now I'm sittin around, hadn't jumped in a month and the docs aren't exactly sure just what is wrong with me other than it friggin hurts. Atleast they ruled out broken bones. Still doing other tests to check further tissue damage, fluid retanation in the joints, severe inflammation/deep bone bruising etc etc.:S

Hey congrats dropeded!!! I too just got a cast off my wrist. I didn't have ine as long as you did, and I still don't think I am completely read to use it yet. In some possitions I still have a good deal of pain from scar tissue in the wrist. I am afraid if i pull the toggle, I might hurt it :(

So, take your time. When your ready you'll know, and it will be worth the wait!!
