It's amusing to see people on both sides of this thing get all bent of shape of nothing really. Anyhow - in defense of Jraf, the point that I took from his open letter was this: * HH has a published set of rules that we've all agreed to live by. * In this ruleset is a list of conditions that will get a thread locked, posts deleted, edited, etc... * The thread in question seemed to violate none of the publised or accepted rules, seemed to be enjoyed by many, has certainly set a new record for thread longevity and length, and now it's gone for no real reason. It's nothing to get bent out of shape about. I don't think his original letter was disrespectful. I do think that some of the responses made were out of line. Whatever... outofit 0 #56 November 9, 2002 jimbo if u took time to read my post i kind of took the blame on this one due in part to the post i created as sort of a competition which in essence was destroying more bandwidth. i guess HH saw this developing and he decided to put an end to it. right or wrong he is in charge and we have to accept. in terms of why it was truly done is speculative at this point given the fact we haven't received word from HH and i guess we will all just have to wait.
