My New Storage Unit

Recommended Posts

It's official! My kid has moved out! Well, mostly moved out; he's left a few things behind that he promises will be moved over the next month or so, but he's no longer sleeping at my house or eating out of my fridge. Woo Hooo!

So does it make me a bad person that I waited only 20 minutes after he'd left with the last load to start moving things into "his" room?? I'm amazed how much roomier my bedroom is after moving the bike, that extra dresser and all those boxes into my new "storage unit." ;)

And the house is so quiet!

Okay, to be totally honest, I do miss him being there. I missed him last night when I couldn't get the oil cap back on the valve cover cuz it was too dark and the oil cap is too greasy for my womanly hands to touch ... and I'm sure I'll miss him next time the garbage needs to be taken out...

Left some stuff at my parents place when I moved out many moons ago. Check your personal stuff too Lisa. Like tools...Last year for Christmas, my brothers and I gave all my dad's tools back to him that we all took when we moved out.

Don't feel too bad Lisa. I still have a BUNCH of stuff at my parents house. When I moved back to this area after I got out of the military I just didn't have room for all that junk. My Mom still complains....:D Oh well...Hopefully I will have a house by this time next year to put all that crap in. Either that or I'll have the pimp DZ trailer and maybe I'll finally sell all that stuff.
