Muenkel 0 #26 November 12, 2002 Glad I could help NacMac.Now, if you need to know anymore about our history, stay away from that BillVon character. You just ask me. _________________________________________ Chris
happythoughts 0 #27 November 12, 2002 QuoteAha I see, thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow Chris...... >>>sound of burning history books in the background<<< "mocked you british" Understandable given our limited grasp of history.... Now you've got me confused. Do the English consider the Scots as British?

Michele 1 #30 November 12, 2002 Quote I saw a recipe in the National Enquirer once for cooking it in the dishwasher Yeah, well, that recipe is for the little green men the NE is always finding... Of course, dishsoap and sudsy water always should be used as seasoning...Ciels- Michele ~Do Angels keep the dreams we seek While our hearts lie bleeding?~
nacmacfeegle 0 #31 November 12, 2002 Do the English consider the Scots as British? Only when they want us to share the blame. I'm Scottish, but also British (it says so on my passport). -------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. nacmacfeegle 0 #33 November 12, 2002 Okay Chris, I'm shutting up, not out of respect for your demands, but because its time for me to go home, and drink beer, I will raise a glass to my fine colonial cousins.....-------------------- He who receives an idea from me, receives instruction himself without lessening mine; as he who lights his taper at mine, receives light without darkening me. Michele 1 #35 November 12, 2002 QuoteShut up, you're interrupting Michele's cooking class. Naw, don't shut up...and share your beer, Nacmac....please, I'm begging here... As for cooking class, it's more like cooking fiasco, if you ask me! Besides, a little history lesson is always a good thing! When you take something out to baste it, remember NOT to put the potholder in the oven. LOL...yes, well, I only have 2 potholders, so I watch them carefully. I'm highly creative, and I'm sure I'll figure out a new and unique way to light that particular fire.....besides, firemen coming to visit at this time of day would actually be a good thing.... mujie96 0 #40 November 12, 2002 You're a saint and I hope your coworkers appreciate you. I'm making ONE turkey for Thanksgiving at the DZ and that's it. And someone's gonna have to get me drunk to keep me in the kitchen long enough to do it. Jess Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
Guest #41 November 12, 2002 why am I reminded of "Surfin' Bird", by The Trashmen, when I read this...? bird-bird-bird, b-b-b-bird bird-bird-bird, b-b-b-bird bird-bird-bird, b-b-b-bird "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat." Michele 1 #42 November 12, 2002 Quote You're a saint and I hope your coworkers appreciate you. The proof is in the pudding, shortly to be removed from the oven and transported to the office....along with the sausage stuffing and the hot artichoke dip. And what's sad is that I have absolutely no interest in eating any turkey at this point.... Besides, I want a nap...but will be at the office until at least 6 this evening, if not later. The burn on my hand isn't too bad either....Ciels- Michele ~Do Angels keep the dreams we seek While our hearts lie bleeding?~

Michele 1 #45 November 12, 2002 For all those who care, the turkey turned out really yummy. Getting a fully cooked, hot turkey to the office along with hot Artichoke dip and stuffing was an adventure...and when I walked in carrying the load, my broker stands up and hollars... "Here comes the turkey!"...and I wasn't sure if he meant the food or me. . In any event, the turkey is now left overs.... One down, two more to go this month... Muenkel 0 #46 November 12, 2002 OK, so Michele...in the time it took for you to make the turkey, trimmings and deliver it to the office, I have been just sitting here post whoreing. Uggh, it's time to go home. _________________________________________ Chris
