Strangers in an "Unholy Land"......

Recommended Posts

Yep, a few Marines dared to enter the holy mecca of Raeford Parachute center this past weekend. The Golden Knights sponsored the annual Army Invitational Parachute Competition over the Veterans Day Holiday. Man, talk about a good time!
I had the pleasure of some great free coaching, and some 8 way speed RW comp. (The scratch team, the Milkmen, missed third place by only 1.2 seconds.) Other than the weather hold on Sunday, filled with an RW training camp by John Hoover, it was great. Jumps from the Knights Porter and the Otter were a blast!!!!! I'm already looking forward to next year!!!

When I left on Sunday night, they had done over 90 Otter loads, with more from the Porter, and I think that they figured over 1800 skydives.
