PLFXpert 0 #32 November 14, 2002 Pretty damn close, Muenkel! Except, if you read b/w the lines, it would be: 1.BZ wild, crazy sex 2.Sabre 3.Skymama wild, crazy spankings 4. Her na-nas gotta spank the bootie some more 5. Miss Virginia entering her talent portion: hard baton twirling 6. Muenkel more wild, crazy spankings Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back. WFFC 1 #37 November 15, 2002 All of my animals have been rescued. The latest two cats were strays that were born underneath a neighbors deck. Needless to say, they are beyond spoiled now.----- ~~~Michael

skygal3 0 #39 November 15, 2002 my 2 kids are rescues...Lola is a Bengal kitty who was brought to be sold at 6 weeks, and stayed there for 7 months all alone. I would see her all the time, always sleeping...I felt so bad. I must've watched her for 2 months, and then the day after Thanksgiving someone was pulling her out of her cage by her hind legs and she was fighting for dear life. She had big green gobs of yuck in her eyes, a nasty upper respiratory infection...I felt so bad, she came home an hour later. Charlie was a feral. He would steal pizza crust from my trash on my porch. It took me 3 months to get near him. He didn't even know what it was to be petted. I spent so many hours trying to get him to trust me, however, everytime I was in my yard he would follow me around, staying far enough away. I would come home and he would be waiting for me on my deck...finally he warmed up a bit and would let me pet him if I was laying down...then the day we brought Lola home I saw another feral I was feeding dead in the road. I felt so bad; Charlie came in that night. After a bunch of tests he was given the a ok to live with her and now they are inseperable...Charlie is still skiddish of strangers (he warmed up to Nate for some weird reason)...but every morning I am trapped in bed by them; charlie at my back and lola on my butt... PLFXpert 0 #40 November 15, 2002 Awww, you are awesome, skygal! The cat stealing pizza crust reminds me of Sabre. Sabre likes to eat and he tries to eat my other cat Zoe's food when he's done w/ his. I always yell, "NO!" so he lays two feet away, stretches out his paw as far as it can go and bats Zoe's food off her plate while she's eating so he can eat it too w/out getting caught. What a little brat! I'm hoping to make enough $$$ in my future to open a safe animal shelter. THere's a wonderful one on the other side of town where all the animals get to roam free most of the time and have little doors to come inside or got out. The cats get to go out into a screened area and the dogs have a nice big yard to play. There's separate areas for animals who don't get along so well w/ others and a separate puppy/kitten play area. They have an excellent adoption rate and run off donations. The place is very clean, cute, and really nice for the animals. None are ever euthanized and all are spayed/neutered. I'd REALLY like to open a place like that but I need to make a shitload of $$$ first b/c donations probably wouldn't cover everything.
skygal3 0 #41 November 15, 2002 It takes a lot! Before I moved to where I am now I was on the board of a humane society that is *still* trying to raise funds to build...They started their capital campaign in 1999 and have raise 1.2 mil so far, with another 900k to go. She is starting to build soon; but she does not want a mortgage payment so wants to raise the $$$ first...it is overwhelming!!! I will pm you the URL for the shelter; it really is an overwhelming idea that she has!

PLFXpert 0 #43 November 15, 2002 Nooooo, I wouldn't have that many...two is enough...I wish I could but I think you should only have as many pets as you can give a lot of attention to. I do want a puppy, though, soon, but not until I buy a house and have more room.Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.
Cornholio 0 #44 November 15, 2002 That is good that you found the owner or the owner found you. But what if he never came looking for him or you never found the owner ? Tell you what I would have done, right away - Taken him to my vet to see if he had a microchip implanted. A lot of pets have this microchip, including mine, to help identify them if they get lost or stolen. It's pretty painless for the animal and cheap. Most people know around here that if they find a stray, to take it to the vet or call animal control. the first thing animal control does is wave their wand over the pet to see if it picks up on the chip. If it does, then they can make a call right away to find out who the registered owner is. If it does not have a chip, they will either take the animal to the pound (sad, I know - but owners will usually look there first ) or they will let you keep the animal for a short time to see if the owner is maybe a near neighbor. Glad to hear it was a happy ending. Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! WFFC 1 #45 November 15, 2002 Quote You're going to end up being one of those news items, I can tell. "Woman with 400 cats starves to death..." There was a news story the other night about a lady moving cross country when her RV broke down in Aspen. She had 62 cats in the RV. skycat 0 #48 November 15, 2002 I'm so glad Fox won't run away. She is so scared of being left behind, if she gets out of a fence or something she just goes and sits by the car waiting for a car ride. Actually even with the door wide open she won't go out if everyone else is in the house, she will just sit there and bark at cars and people going by. The cat on the other hand, has tried to jump off my 3rd story balcony to get away, luckly I caught him, although one time it was by the tail He isn't allowed on the balcony anymore. Fly it like you stole it!
happythoughts 0 #49 November 15, 2002 QuoteI'm so glad Fox won't run away... Horses are like that. If there is a fence line down, they get out, eat a little bit, realize how unhappy they are, and then wait by the gate for someone to let them in.
