Daizey 0 #1 November 21, 2002 If you ever get lost.....Call Viking!!! hehehe. Tonight I was driving home from a friend's. I missed my exit, got off at a different one and tried to make my way back home. Well....somehow (don't ask how) I ended up in the middle of Queens-on my way to Brooklyn! Did i mention this happened at 4:30 am!!!?? Talk about being scared...I locked all the doors and Viking helped me get out of Queens and back out towards eastern Long Island!!! hahaha he kept asking ok, where are you? I was like ummm...good question!! haha. I made like 8 circles and kept turning around peoples driveways-the houses looked like something you'd see on, "All in the Family" haha. Once i turned around in someones driveway and all the lights came on in their house. then some guy almost hit me, and then some cop cut me off and pulled some car over in front of me-and he was out across the road...gotta love Queens! In some spots I saw these people on the corners..and I was like Whoah! Gotta get OUTTA here!! Boy was I glad when I finally got back on the highway!! What an eventful night! I am just happy that I am back here in my room safe and sound hehehe. Anyone else care to share their stories about funny/scaty experiences they've had getting lost? *daizey*

Daizey 0 #6 November 21, 2002 haha, the 8 circles was because of me "swearing" i knew where I was! Not because of Viking haha. And he just happened to be on the phone-I was talking to him before i got lost. Coulda sworn I knew where I was going then I was like 170th street! haha I got deeper than that, but eventually with his help I was able to get out! haha besides, who else was gonna be up willing to give me directions that early in the morning!? *daizey*

Dumpster 0 #8 November 21, 2002 While in France during my AF days-(Bosnian conflict- Long story-) we went to San Tropez via Marsailles on a day off- On the way back, well after dark, we got lost in Marsailles. Well, since we were driving in circles, and had a dedicated driver, the rest of us (seven total in a Renault minivan) figured the most sensible thing to do was to start drinking heavily, which we were well equipped to do. We emptied six bottles of wine and the better part of a bottle of some weird European whiskey inside of an hour. I haven't had that much fun since high school, when one of favorite hobbies was driving at high rates of speed while killing large quantities of brain cells. Boy I'm glad I outgrew that phase before killing myself. Easy Does It
Daizey 0 #9 November 21, 2002 HAHAHA...MAPS.com....JT's solution to finding his way around the world. hahaha. seriously. i once asked him how to get to Nassau Coliseum figuring he'd remember since he DID live down here. he said, go to MAPS.com. haha. JT says he knows how to get everywhere-and he's posted all of his direction on MAPS.com! haha! *daizey*
skymama 37 #10 November 21, 2002 The REAL question is...what were you doing out at 4:30 am? I know there's a story there! She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
Daizey 0 #11 November 21, 2002 Aww come on now-the night of my 18th birthday and you expect me to stay home or come home early!?!?!?! haha, honestly, I wish it was something exciting i was doing. I was actually dropping off my kitten (who, you gotta understand, is my pride and joy) at his new owners house I guess it was because of all the tears that I managaed to miss that sign!Haha wait, that still sounds bad-your still probably wondering why i was out there so late...its cause the guy decided to be a jerk and not get home until 2-i couldn't keep the cat in my dorm room, so i had no choice but to make what i thought was gonna be a short trip out there.... *daizey*
freeflir29 0 #12 November 21, 2002 I have been lost many places in the world. One of the funniest had to be in Germany. It was a retirement party for my Dad. We left the hotel in Maintz and walked for about 20 minutes down a MAZE of back alleys to get to his favorite restaurant. Well...the whole restaurant was reserved for my Dad's party. Several differen't flight crews showed up including some absolute HOTIIE stewardesses. So....of course I'm mackin this hottie and she starts buying me drinks. Shots!!!!! Next thing you know she has gotten me TOTALLY hammered. I make a trip to the bathroom and on my way back I find this back room with a nice comfy chair to sit in. Ahhh....it's nice to sit down where it's quiet. Fast forward to about 4AM. I wake up and the restaurant is closed. The door is locked and I'm at the bottom of a stairwell. OK....I walk up the stairs. Someone's dog starts barking.....I finally find my way outside. OK....now I have NO idea where I am. Thanks to my kickass sense of direction I managed to find my way home in about an hour. My Mom thought I went home with the Stewardess. What a trip that was. Beware hottie stewardesses. They are evil!!!!!!!!
