What a good feeling

I am participating in the Hope Fund and writing a story on a local woman for our regional paper. I can't speak about the details now, but they think my story will end up on the front page of the Sunday paper!...I am so happy, not for me, but for the woman. She will get more attention if the story is in the Sunday edition.

What an amazing family. I interviewed her in her home w/ her kids and had a great time. Despite the awful things that happened, this amazing (and might I add, GORGEOUS woman) had such a positive outlook. Her kids were WONDERFUL which shows what a great mom she has always been.

I was so impressed, thankful to be as fortunate as I am, and thankful to be able to help her get the help she needs by writing this story.

I know I haven't given many details, but I will be sure to post the story when it comes out...might not be for a month or so. I'm sure you guys will be just as touched as I am.

I picked this woman out of 30 other people b/c she wasn't looking for handout and had such a great attitude.

I've done quite a bit of volunteer work in my life, and always felt good but this tops it all.

I would encourage you all, if you get a chance, to do the same b/c it really does change your life as well as helping anothers
