ECVZZ 0 #51 November 23, 2002 Michele, I'm glad to hear that Bitch kitty is o.k.- And she's not nearly as mean as her name implies! Sending mice and beans for her recovery, (or was that Charlotte?). Greg
ChileRelleno 0 #52 November 23, 2002 Just curious, how many jumps did this kitty just cost you? I'm glad to hear she's OK and sharing love with you. ChileRelleno-Rodriguez Bro#414 Hellfish#511,MuffBro#3532,AnvilBro#9, D24868

Muenkel 0 #54 November 23, 2002 Quote You'll get thru it. Hang in there. BTW, I think your cat is going to be fine also. It's a hunch. Never take a Muenkel hunch lightly. Michele, I'm happy for you and the bitch! _________________________________________ Chris
Michele 1 #55 November 23, 2002 QuoteSending mice and beans for her recovery, (or was that Charlotte?). Actually, Esse is the one who likes kidney beans. Charlotte likes the mice (but is not allowed them since she came to live with me), and Bitch Kitty likes Friskies Kitty Stew. But thanks for the thought. Quotehow many jumps did this kitty just cost you? Yesterday's surgery went off at $196.50. Her initial office visit, plus blood work etc. was $207. Meds total are something on the order of $45. And follow up exams will be $30. Grand total for this loving furball is $478.50...Waking up next to her, curled on the pillow, purring? Priceless. But to translate it into jumps, is 4.5 days (I still rent eqipment), which, further translated, means Eloy looks really distant and impossible for me to swing right now. freeflir29 0 #56 November 23, 2002 Great news Michelle. I thought about your kitty as I ate lunch earlier. My sister-in-law's cat was staring intently. See....I was eating fish. Normally that cat won't much come near me. He won't really come near anyone except my sister. He will let me pet him occasionally, but only 3 times before he hisses at me. Well...since I had fish he was my bestest buddy. I shared with him....
Michele 1 #57 November 23, 2002 Clay, you are a good man...well, not really, but I believe in the positive reinforcement method. Cats will love you on their terms....handouts being one of them. freeflir29 0 #58 November 23, 2002 Quote Cats will love you on their terms Yep...all I can say is.....He's a cat. It's like he's afraid you might think he likes you or something. As tough as he acts he's still just a big wuss. He's hilarious when he gets left in the house for a few days by himself. He's even gald to see me when that happens. Runs out of the bedroom, meowing, and wanting to be pet. Of course just 3 or 4 times and then it's back to hiding.

airann 1 #60 November 24, 2002 Yeah, priceless...... True. Chel- I was worried. Sent the vibes and the whole thing but still wanted to find out for sure. Since I have 6 kids, besides Levin, I can hear the smalles whine the ever so below audible bark. A kitten cry within 1/2 mile radius.... I think I have super powers... should have my own TV show putting scarves on llamas and etc. I can read their minds. < In addition I have enough footage for a special on Funniest Animals. Kitten went in pool again chasing a leaf, swims great Flea (mini-toy Rat Terrier) sleeping on Great Danes back while he was in recliner Chawat-shund beating up Great Dane, 3 lbs vs 165 lbs Dane puts Fleas whole head in his mouth and the famous, Flea steals ribs from neighboors grill. - I accidently had camera on. However its shot with my freeflyin camera and wide angle lens.... think anyone would notice? Back to the subject... Flea has been to ER vet twice. I have had two nervous breakdowns there also... 1) severe vomiting == ate too many Kitty treats from litter box. 2) got bit on face & foot by spider. Both times, I was driven as fast as we could go, running all the lights and swerving round all sorts of things... screeching halt in front of ER Vets Office. Then I nearly passed out. ~AirAnn~
