Sonic 0 #1 November 24, 2002 what a bad weekend !! On saturday we had great weather, and supposed to have an Islander down as well as our usual 182. The Islander didn't show up, and we had no pilot for the 182. No jumping . Was going to stay a friend's house on saturday and go clubbing etc, bu on the way we lost all the electrics in the car and had to wat a few hours to be rescued by the RAC. Didn't get into the club until 11:00, then we were too tired to do anything. Left after about an hour. Today, again nice weather, but couldn't get hold of the pilot at all. no jumping again !! then I get back home and the power supply on my pc has died, but at least I had a spare 350 watt lying around. freeflir29 0 #3 November 24, 2002 Don't feel too bad. The weather hear today is beautiful. It's about 60-65F and absolutely chrystal clear blue skies. I woke up 2 hours later than I had planned so I didn't have time to get to the DZ before I had to go to work. Hopefully there will be a tandem or two on the books for tomorrow so I can get a jump in.
