Nice RIG!!!! I have been considering a hurricane. The RSA folks here rave about the flare. They say it flies much like a Stiletto but with better flare at the bottom end. I haven't gotten to jump one yet because the biggest one around these parts is a 120 that I would load around 1.8 or 1.9.

After the way people whined and complained when I bought my Stiletto at 1.3..... For some reason the Hurricane made me more cautious than Tim's Xaos. I figure the cross braced is easier to land. Probably just a mental thing and yes....I am a wuss when it comes to canopies. That's why I have no retained hardware.

WoooHooo.
I put a few jumps on it this weekend. Me happyMe very happy.

I am still taking it easy but if you come in straight and level it puts you down nice and soft.
Crank it a bit to get some speed and it flies like a demon and has lots of flare and lift. Quite forgiving and stable.
I load it at 1.45

I leant it out to a friend who jumps a Stilleto 135.
His comments were that it was less twitchy with a flatter glide. Good swoop and very predictable.
